Hi Guys. Could Someone Tell Me If Any Of These Configurations Will Or Will Not Work.[ why] In Adding A Set Of Remotes To My Tractor. And Also Is 500# psi A Good Residual Pressure Thanks oh control valve in pic has its own relief.

I see no pic.

What residual pressure?

Please explain a little more what you are trying to do. Still don't understand what the residual pressure is. Is that the outlet pressure limit on the tank port?

JJ. I Have A control Valve Id Like To Add As A Aux Valve With A set Of Hoses To Feed A logspitter. The Residual Pressure Is Flow Pressure With No Load.

I don't believe 500 psi is going to do very much. Your best bet would be to run a two stage pump off the engine shaft to a 3pt log splitter.

The Residual Pressure Is Flow Pressure With No Load.

Your so called "residual pressure" is supposed to be as low as possible, to minimize excessive heat and power losses....500psi is not a very low "residual pressure"...
500psi will generate 0.3hp for every 1 gpm of flow.....10 gpm>>3hp into heat........3hp=2.23kW...

That 500# Pressure Is With A Guage in return line off Loader Control Valve. And Also The Power Beyond Port

/ HYD REMOTE QUESTION #9
Put a load on the pump and tell us what the pressure is. The GPM off that lawn mower can't be very much. Not trying to shoot down your project, but trying to give you some idea what all is involved.

That Pressure Gets To 2000+ but what Abought The Aux Valve

what tractor is this going on?

If you are asking whether the remote valve will work with your current valve, it will depend on the characteristics of the current valve. If the tank port can take 2000 psi, then the valve can be added in series. Are you wanting to control a SA, or DA cyl or a hyd motor. Do you need float, or detent, etc?

Im Just Kinda Courius What Is Special About Power Beyond. When I Got My Little Tractor. The Previous Owner Had This single Valve Piped Off The Return Line Of The Loader Control. I Put A Gauge On One Of The Single Valve Outlets And Got 2000# When Activated And It Is Adustable. Have Gauge On Power Beyond And It Goes Down To Zero When Activating Single Valve Which Sounds Normal. Just Running Without Operating Any Hydraulics The Gauge On The Power Beyond Will Be Around 500# At 2000 RPM.

power beyone is for when you have to feed another valve down stream of the return.. the pb capable valve can take the pressure that is seen on it's 'return' port. some valves could not.. for instance.. some cheap log splitter valves that are plumbed in series before say.. teh 3pt lift.. when you go and lift 1000# on the 3pt.. that lil log splitter valve may not like it.. etc.

So The Power Beyond And The Return Line Out Of The Power Beyond Capable Valve Are Basicly The Same

it's for feeding a downstream valve.. etc.

Which its Return line [out outlet] Goes To The Return. Right

/ HYD REMOTE QUESTION #18
It depends on where you put the gage, directly in the port, or tee in line, and what is activated. . Some valves were not designed for pressure downstream, and the fluid from the cylinder usage flows out the out /return valve to tank. Other valves are designed for pressure down stream, and are labeled PB. Again, it depends on where you put the gage. 500 psi with no cylinder being used is a bit much. There is a restriction somewhere. It could be from the 3pt lever position. If the 3pt lever is engaged, everything up stream will have pressure on the IN and OUT ports. If you have PB plumbed in, there should be very little pressure in the return/out port. If no hyd unit is being used, there should be no or very little pressure in the system. Fluid expended from the cyl, is supposed to go to tank.

You might be surprised to know how much pressure it takes to raise an empty bucket. It only goes to max pressure or relief pressure when the cyl are fully extended or retracted, and at max load..

Kitz,

Please ignore my ref to a lawn mower. I see you have a tractor.

/ HYD REMOTE QUESTION #20
i agree on 500 psi being a high back pressure if it is venting to tank. I know some fords only need about 40 psi to keep the unloading valve 'alive' when it is dumping...
