In my case, it makes setting the angle of attack (for scraper, BB, landscape rake) easier than having to get off the tractor and turn a top link adjustment, then figure out it isn't quite what you need, and get off again and adjust. The second thing for me is when I'm using my Bush Hog, I want to get the back of it up as high as I can at times without bending the PTO shaft. If I set that correctly for when the BH is raised, then it is not at the correct angle to mow with. With a hyd. top link it is much easier to make adjustments as needed.
