Hi All.

I just bought a B3000 with a front mount snow blower B2782B.

I went out to grease things up and noticed that it is missing several of the Hydraulic plugs and caps for the Hydraulic connections/couplers.

The inside diameter of one of the female fitting appears to be 5/8" plus/minus, but I believe everything that Kubota does is in metric sizes.

I want to purchase several caps and plugs as I want to assure those connectors remain as dirt free as possible.

Anyone know what the size is that I need? Both for the plug and for the caps/covers?

Is it the same size for ALL of the fittings Kubota uses for all of their implements?

I wonder if they sell a "kit" full of coupling protectors.

Thanks for any assistance.

Tim,

As far as I know, all Hydraulic connections/couplers are made to an ISO standard. You should be able to find covers/proctors at most Ag supply stores.

Thank you for the info gentlemen.

I think I'll try my luck at Tractor Supply. There is one about 10 minutes away from me.

Thanks again.

I have seen caps & plugs that are color coded so you can match up the hoses and connectors easily. However, I have not been able to locate a source.

Amazon has what you need. I am pretty sure you have 1/2 AG couplers also known as ISO 5675

Hi Dale.

I have seen them too. I'll keep searching for a source.

Thanks.

Hi Motorboatin,

Thanks for the info.

I'll check out Amazon too and compare prices with the other suggested places.

I appreciate the info.

Last summer I bought a B3350 with FEL, third function valve and FEL mounted hydraulically angled snow plow.

When delivered, the coupling cap/plugs for the third function connections were incorrect and 2 would not stay on/in.

Rectifying this issue took nearly three months and it was necessary for the parts man at my dealer, who I know very well, to order several different part numbers in order to find ones that would fit properly.

No, they are not all the same.

Yes, "kits" are sold by aftermarket suppliers (not Kubota). My dealer has one such display assortment but none of those in the assortment would work with my couplings.

We finally found plugs/covers that would work but had already decided to swap out the couplings as a last resort.

The couplings on your tractor may well not be those sent by Kubota to the dealer that sold the tractor when new.

SDT,

Thanks for the info.

That's very interesting. Who would have thought that the couplings may not be OEM.

Just as disappointing is that the original owner did not care enough to assure that the couplings had plugs and caps to keep them clean.

I guess I am too fastidious about things like that, but it's really just common sense.
