Hydraulic cooler on my CK25

MDM what tractor do you have, did you change the cooler from stock?

Mike

Mine is a comparable sized Kubota tractor. I was posting for comparison purposes only. I'm not sure if a Kubota cooler would work because the connetions are simple rubber hoses and hose clamps.

Oil cooler dimensions in attached pictures...

The oil cooler on my JD4300 IS a Modine, and it is about 10.5" x 16". Unlike
on my CK30, it is NOT rigidly mounted. There are rubber spacers between it
and the radiator. The CK's rigid mount transmits lots of vibrations, I am
sure.

Solid lines and mounting brackets may cause problems, due to expansion and contraction. If you mount the radiator and the solid lines securely, they will eventually crack, or leak. It is best if the radiator is mounted loosely but not enough to vibrate against anything else. The lines should be flexible, and should have some bend in the lines. You might come up with a better system if you were to use a radiator from one of the small cars, with the fan built on the frame. You could mount it almost anywhere. The Power-Tracs have a fan cooled radiator, with a thermal switch to operate the fan. You can get the fan and radiator for around $30.
