Just a follow up on the Hydraulic Rod. I dropped it off at the machine shop and the lady said she would re-thread it. Took about a week for her to get to it, but when I picked it up she said the cost was $22.00. Lot better than the first guy that wanted $200.00. He said he would have to cut the cross tube off to get in the lathe.
She works in this big machine shop by herself, not much heat in there, all kinds of machines and just her. I don't know if other people work in there or not. If they do, I have never seen them.
I haven't gotten around to putting it on the backhoe yet, but it should work, unless there is other problems with the cylinder.
Thanks to everyone that responded.
