2009 Mahindra 3316 HST-2008 Mahindra 7010 cab - 2004 Mahindra 6000 4X4
I raised my bushhog up on the back of the 6000 and now it won't go back down. Any ideas what could be wrong? Only 358 hours and it won't start by the key again and now the hydraulics. To add insult to injury the dealer said he couldn't come here and even trouble shoot what was wrong. I'll have to pay him to haul it the 60 miles to his shop and haul it back. Once this thing is fixed it will belong to someone else regardless of loss!

Joel, you should have a hitch lowering speed adjustment knob. I'm not sure where it is on your tractor, but I'm accustomed to it being below the front of the seat, down near the floor behind and between your feet. If it gets closed, the 3-point hitch will not lower. Just "unscrew" it a ways; i.e., turn it counterclockwise. And if that isn't the problem, then I don't know.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not it. It seems the tractor is still trying to lift the arms. The hoses to the fel pulse and the arms surge. Fluid is full.

what is the position of the draft control lever? If it's not down, push it all the way down.

what do you mean it wont start by the key? How do you start it? When did this begin to happen?

This is the 3rd time it fails to start with key. 2 previous starters replaced. I can roll it off. Amps show fine but it just goes click and nothing. Starter is hot afterwards leading me to believe it is another starter.
Draft lever is down. 3 point lever is down. It's almost like the lever is not turning what it should inside. Implement is at full height.
The good part is it's only been a week since I called the dealer and he's still a no show! I need a good swift kick in the behind for dealing with them. I spent $45000 with him 2 years ago only to start my tractor with a screwdriver all summer before he finally came and put a starter on.

Umm .. yikes. Sorry to hear about that. Sounds like you should be contacting a Mahindra rep if you arent getting service. Maybe you've done this already.. . I'm sure you checked the levers already to make sure something hasn't worked loose. Sounds like you have a good handle on the situation but bad dealer support.

If its not the isolation valve (ie. its open) and you FEL lines are pulsing, it sound like an issue with the FEL. As you know the same pump runs both the 3ph and FEL. Is your joystick stuck in one postion?? Check underneath the joystick and make sure all the valves are opening/closing properly. It sounds like one is stuck open. Bobg in VA

i had a similar starting problem with my 2810 and its less than a year old. come to find out the computer was bad. My dealer came out diagnosed the problem picked the tracter up. called him on a friday, he picked it up on monday. had the tractor back in a week, only because the part was shipped. All this at no cost to me.

boy,,,,,i would be hotter than a fire cracker! these things probably wouldnt be that big a deal if you had dealer support. i noticed on your personal info the hour meter quit working to. you probably work too much to have the time to spend hours on the phone holding people accountable.. i think alot of buisnesses count on that.
