Looks like JIC to me, either -04 or -06 (1/4 or 3/8) in size.

Couldn’t find one at TS. Seems they have mostly 1/2” and I need 1/4” so I’ll order one online tonight. What are these fittings called? Both ends of the hose are female and have a flared in shoulder.

I’d change those adapters too. They aren’t expensive and with so much rust they probably wouldn’t seal correctly. It also looks like the thread is galled.

It looked like there might’ve been some Teflon around the threads. If I’m not mistaken these shouldn’t be put on with any sealant or tape right?

Definitely JIC (unless it’s JIS..), do not use thread tape. If you are near me I can make a hose on site in my service van. I’m in southern NH.

Many Napa stores offer made to order hydraulic hoses. Find the closest one and call them.

Work in Merrimack, live near Plaistow. I don’t have a service call out your way anytime soon, but if you can swing by Plaistow after 4pm I’m happy to make you a hose.

That’s a bit of a hike but a solid plan b. I found one labeled “female JIC (37 DEG 7/16-20 thread”. Think that’s the one?

Couldn’t tell you unless I measure the fitting. -4 JIC thread is 7/16-20, -6 is 9/16-18.

If you used a 9/16 wrench to take it off; it’s a -4. If you used an 11/16, it’s a -6.
