Hydraulic issues

If oil is milky you have water in oil. Also there is a filter screen that needs cleaning at same time you change filter, it may be clogged.
I dealt with hydraulic problems on my 2910i for over a year. Also don't discount seals and o-rings being bad in loader and bucket. I bought the tractor that had been outside at least 2 years, and the owner had used it like it was a 50HP. The hydraulic pump went out, I bought a new one, it was a nightmare to take off and replace, I took a come-a-long and moved the hyd. tube far enough back to get it off and replace it, I wasn't sent new bolts so I assumed I could use the old ones, well the pump blew off in the middle of the field. I took it to machine shop hoping they could repair the threads, they chased them , I got new bolts, put it back on, it blew off again, I decided after talking to my brother , we agreed I couldn't break it, I used metal inserts to repair, not heli coil, I drilled, tapped , inserted them, put it back on, and they are still holding, then I had bucket and loader cylinders rebuilt. This is the last part of my previous problems with hydraulic system. This forum was invaluable too me in guiding and advice. Sally
