That is awesome! Thank you for that information on your attachments. I have been researching the heck out of all of this and feel like I am drinking from the firehose! ;) I will try recontacting Surplus Center and see if they can help me get my parts lined up with all this new info.
Take a look at their Item# 9-7368-160.

If you've not already found it, you will probably also need one of these -

1-3/8" 6T SPLINED COUPLING 167-02206

You may also want to look at the next displacement lower, depending on whether you want your tractor running at full PTO speed and your mower a bit slow... Steve

You will need one of these.

DOUBLE RELIEF VALVE. 3/4 NPT 30 GPM 1500-3000 PSI HYD CUSHION VALVE

When a hyd motor is shut down, the motor then acts as a pump and if you block the ports, something will break.

A motor control valve is a valve with spools that lets all ports go to tank in neutral. This is designed to let the hyd motor spin down so as not to develop excessive pressure .

It is strictly an open center spool valve.

You probably have motor spools on the skidsteer aux circuit where you can reverse the flow.

Does anyone have a photo of a fully plumbed cushion valve? Much appreciated

JJ, I spoke with a rep from Surplus City and I’m going to order the PTO Drive Motor and the cushion valve (DRV). Again, this is going to spend most it’s life on a low skid steer loader...only two hydraulic lines running to it. I have no experience with the high flow machines, but I do believe they have a third line for case-drain...but I am speaking on assumption. I have also never dealt with any cushion valves.

The photo of the DRV mounted to the winch isn’t very clear to me, as I don’t understand it. In my minds eye, there will be two short lines running to one side of this DRV and on the other side will be the two long lines with flat-faced couplers to attach to the skid loader. Does that sound right?

After tons of surfing, I found this photo (here on TBN) of one on a snowplow set up.

A cushion valve is there to bleed to the other side.

A relief valve usually sends the over pressure to tank.

Keep an eye on the hyd fluid temp when running that motor continuously.

Some hyd motors use case drains, and that goes directly to tank.

In the winch picture, the DPOC is across the hyd motor.

Where does one find a hydraulic fluid temperature gauge? I didn稚 find one on Surplus Center or Bailey. Thanks
