Hydraulic motor on rear blade

Another option would be to use a hydraulic rotary actuator. They are made to have much more torque than motors and provide a controllable rotation. Most do not have 360 degree rotation. To get the torque you need you would most likely need a double rack unit.
A planetary final drive would probably work also. Any equipment salvage yards around you?

Interesting ideas, I use my blade going forward and backing up quite often. I do have hydraulic angle and tilt with an option for hydraulic offsett.
When I rotate my blade 180 I have to unpin my angle cylinder spin the blade the 180 and repin the angle cylinder.

Torque definitaly an issue with just a direct drive motor setup.

It CAN be made to work with many of the ideas mentioned here.....but whats the budget for this project?
