Hydraulic Pioneer Couplers - tape/fluid or no tape/fluid?

   / Hydraulic Pioneer Couplers - tape/fluid or no tape/fluid? #31
I have been making up threaded fittings of just about every thread on the market for upwards of 50 years. When working with stainless I will always recommend at a minimum teflon tape with a nickle anti-seize, on steel threads I'll use either a pipe dope with teflon or teflon tape if the threads feel rough (much of the chinese) fittings and or devices I'll often use both. Always starting the teflon tape or pipe dope a full thread or two back from the end.
