I have a compact tractor with a front end loader and rear blade. The loader worked fine, but is now experiencing problems. Without a load placed on it, the front end loader seems slow but is able to move as it should. Lifting any type of load becomes the issue- it will not do this.
The 3-point hitch / rear blade works as it should and without any hesitation.
I have changed the fluid, cleaned the hydraulic screen (was not what I would consider "dirty") and double checked the fluid level afterwards. Hoses and connections look very good. Can't find any visible leaks.
Anyone have any additional thoughts as to:
1. what else I could check or a systematic method to narrow the problem down
2. how to check whether the hydraulic pump is weak or bad
Thanks for any help.
