Most commonly they are under the foot rest, but I have seen them back as far as the middle of the rear wheel. He just needs to check to make sure that he gets them all, looked at.

Some tractor manufacturers and dealers put QD's in the darndest places. I've seen jinma with the qd installed 3" away from the hyd pump.... in this area, the QD is BEFORE the relief valve.. so.. if the engine is running, and the QD pops loose.. the pump DEADHEADS immediatly...neat design.. go figure... gives new meanig to the term 'design failure'... more like 'designed to fail'.
