Hydraulic Pump

I am looking for either a rebuilt or a kit to rebuild the hydraulic pump for a 1998 Kubota M4900 special utility tractor. The dealer will only sell me a new one that costs $1,100. Anyone else have this same issue?

There are not rebuilds to my knowledge. These pumps are aluminum bodies so when 1 goes bad, it goes bad. I do not ever remember seeing 1 that was leaking without internal damage (that is not to say it can not happen, I just have not seen it). What is wrong with yours?

It is leaking fluid. Do you know if there is a gray market or another pump that will work with this tractor?

Is there any manufacturers information on the pump? I.e. Make, model, etc.. If yes you may be able to get a replacement but suspect that the pump for Kubota is proprietary.
