The FEL has been on my BX since I bought it 4 years ago. Went to take off today. All 4 QC on the hydro lines were frozen solid. The sleeves on the female end would not move at all. Penetrating oil and after supper went out and finally broke the sleeves loose with pliers. Pieces would not pull apart. Finally unscrew the QC from the hose and with some effort broke the QC apart. Inside was full of rust.

Lesson Learned: Don't let those QC set w/o exercising them and keeping the parts loose and lubricated inside the sleeve.

Fix: I will have to buy new QCs for all four lines as all the cad plating is destroyed in the interior. Luckily Kubota uses Parker series 60 QCs. They are readily available and not too expensive. I will be sure to coat the interior liberally with anti-seize compound.

My tractor stays indoors when not in use, but I'll check it tomorrow JIC (Just In Case not the type of connector). Mine are ISO Ag or some such.
