I am working on installing an old meyers 6 ' snow plow on a 1989 Ford 1320 tractor with FEL. I had the same plow mounted on my 2001 New Holland TC-35 for years. I bolted the old truck plow frame inside the bucket and disconnected the hydraulic lines for the curl function on the bucket and ran them to the angle cylinders on the snow plow. It worked perfectly for years until I bought a truck with a plow and have not used it since. A good friend of mine bought the 1320 a while back and we mounted the meyers snowplow to it and we cannot get the angle function to work. We hooked it up exactly the same as I did on my TC-35 and the plow will only angle in one direction and stop. If I switch the lines on the loader quick disconnect it will angle the other way and stop. It was driving me crazy so just to prove to my buddy that it did work I hooked it up to my TC-35 into the curl function as before and it worked perfectly. Just for fun we hooked it up to the lift lower hydraulic circuit on the 1320 loader and low and behold it works perfectly it will angle in both directions no problem. The curl function on the 1320 works perfectly with the bucket hooked up but will not angle the plow from side to side. I cannot understand how the curl function will work with the bucket but yet it will not angle the plow.
Any thoughts on what could be the cause would be greatly appreciated.
