If you already have (or are planning on installing) a TnT with 3-spool valve, then it may be worth it. It will probably add about $500 to the cost of a typical subcompact box scraper. Also, if you already have (or are planning to install) a rear remote, and won't be using it for a hydro toplink, then it also may be worth it. What it does is allow you to quickly switch between ripping and scraping w/o ripping, or to adjust how deep you rip while still scraping.. If this isn't important to you, then there's no need to get it.

I have TnT and since I do not use my BB commercially, I am happy with the in between solution. That is: one spring assisted lever that raises and lowers the scarifiers all at the same time. So far for each project I get on and off the tractor about three times for about 15 seconds to adjust the scarifiers. I guess it depends on how much BBing you plan on doing if it would be worth it for you.
