Link works for me....you do not have to be memeber to see it, but indeed to post the question....

Fluid Power Forums - Powered by Social Strata

Yes I think so....I think this A16 is a std about a manifold/valve, size and hole pattern....

Sorry, my fault about the site. The site uses 100% scripts, without any backcode. (You know, the kind of stuff that pops up when you want to open a PDF or something and it tells you that you need it to view the page).

I run a script protection program in FF and don't enable scripts on a page until I've checked it out or have reasonable trust (Google search links are !terrible! for links to bogus and infected sites). I had a blank screen, which often means you tried to view a page within a site without logging in. I should have checked the scripts, even though that was really unusual :ashamed:

Moving on...

Okay, so if I can find a cartridge valve, open center, appropriate flow rate, with a single or double spool (or two stacked, whatever), it should stack together with my existing A16 valve?

That's the hypothesis. Gotta check that out. If anyone knows of one (including Mahindra's new triple remote valves- would love to check one out. I think they are just 3 cartridge valves stacked together)

So what about the "4" on the valve? Any ideas? Remember, it is printed in line with the A16, but before it and upside down. Had a heck of a time trying to figure out what it was in that tight spot, since the "A" was certainly an A and the 4 was certainly a 4 but were upside down from each other.

I would love to know the availability and pricing of the Mahindra remotes off the new 4035...any dealers listening? :anyone:

Thanks for the input!

Found this on the site you posted, in the e-book. Lots of info there, but only grabbed a small excerpt to comply with any copyrights. Here is the link to the original page from the author:

CHAPTER 4: ISO Symbols and Glossary, part 2

Excerpt image attached.

Thanks, AKKAMAAN! Now to determine the port size and see if I can find the right valve- possibly even a solenoid actuated one if the price is right. Kennyd had recommended a good stackable valve, if it matches up. Here:

I think we're getting somewhere

Good luck JC, sounds like you might be on to something! You will now be the official TBN "stack valve" expert:thumbsup:

Kennyd,

 Me, an expert? That's a good one!

But if I'm right about what I'm trying to do (along with some good help from folks here), I'll gladly share what I learn.

And if I'm wrong and it doesn't work, we'll all get a good laugh out of it :p
