Hydraulic Winch installation Kubota L2950

Cytafex, I have just come across this thread and one thing that concerns me is the winch that you are wanting to use.If it is a Warn winch or similar you can not dead pull (using the tractor to pull without the winch rotating) as it will damage the brake I have had this problem with the 12000lb winch on my machine. the brake is located between the drive motor and the planetary gearbox,inside the drum:2cents:

Hey Tony,
I have a Mile Marker 12,000 lb pull that was made for the military (our tax $ going to work for me) that is bolted to a hitch on the 3 point. I haven't been pulling from the winch, but a clevis hook on the hitch. Thanks for the heads up anyway.
