/ Hydraulics quit working after getting hot. Mostly a loss of power to the point of driving backwards to get out of the way. Help

There are 3 components in that diagram that can cause overheating issues.prv on gc2400 is spring loaded valve, when springs on a prv are worn they sometimes don't react correctly when hot.

Like mentioned before, a tired or broken spring can cause extensive heat to the oil.
Next two things are a worn cone and/or worn valve seat.
If you check on the valve assembly, an intact spring is not always a green light for proper functioning. Pull out the cone and check the surface.
And still, after visual inspection of the parts, you can not eyeball the physical condition of the spring under load. A pressure test should have been performed already at this point.
