Sure sounds like a design defect on NH's part. The class III Boomers all have hydraulic-rated hoses with corresponding hydraulic type ends and fittings - no bulging.
Thats what I was thinking. Why in the world would NH use a hose clamp on a class II, and hydraulic fitting on a class III. Absurd. The factory should go to all hydraulic fitting and hoses for all. Jeepers, some of the stuff they do. I have a TC48DA, suppose to be deluxe tractor. No swivel seat, no PTO engaged light on dash. If the fuel gage fails on the dash, hey no problem, only $540 for a new gage cluster. What's up with that stuff, even though it's small potatos compared to a hydro cooler hose failure.
