I don't see in this thread M2C134 spec repeatedly quoted only offered as a possibility by you. And you're on target, you don't have my manual or tractor. I don't need your advise when questioning my ability to read. Just looking for some friendly advise not off the cuff remarks.

Again, Check your manual, the lubrication section. I believe you have stated that you did see a 134 reference in it..... Most ford and Nh tractors use the M2C134 oil spec in most of their non engine sumps.

My advice was friendly, without regard to your abilty to read or not.

Don't bother replying.. I'm adding you to my ignore list.. so i won't be bothered seeing it anyway.

At this point I don't care if you just go put baby oil in your machine.. don't matter to me.

The Hydraulic Fluid that I bought at TSC has NO cross reference specs listed. Even on the Valvoline web site when I search for the part number or any number on the pail it comes up....duhhhh.... blank. Pretty stupid of Manufacturer. (I may be ignorant ....but they are definitely stupid..... ) They do have a hydraulic UTF with specs listed but don't have the NH 134D listed. My pail does list UT with Part #VC861, ISO 32 but that's it.

Fortunately I only have one pail & have used maybe half a litre just to top up. Anybody want some FREE useless Hydraulic Oil.

Oh well.....another learnings.

If yours lists iso 32.. then it's plain old hyd oil.. jack oil.. it is NOT utf.

All the UTF oils I see at TSC do list specs.. and at least at the 4 stores in driving distance of me.. all the UTF they have DOES INDEED meet the 134 spec. Might call it by it's full name..e tc.. IE.. M2C134 ( plus a letter.. like A-D-G.. etc.. )

was it the traveler or mystic you were looking at?

Not sure what you mean by Traveller or Mystic. I was looking at the Valvoline web site when I was doing my search as that is Manufacturer's name on pail. Not sure if we can get the "traveller" brand up here.

Sounds like there are regional supplier differences for the oil.

Down here, traveler is the store brand TSC sells.. though they also cary mystik or mystic (spelling? ).

If it's valvoline you are looking at, you have to look at their heavy duty industrial oil section.. thats where they sell their UTF oil.. it is called 'Unitrac'

Ditto on that. I have bought mystick from TSC that does meet NH 134 as it says on the back of two gallon jug. it cross references to many other UTF spec as well that I can not remember.
