I am ......sick!

I posted my 5225 cab/air on tractorhouse.com back in Oct of 2008 when the car business,(my biz), starting tanking....a few responses, no big deal.....Monday of this week ,some guy from north Tx calls me up to see if I still had it.....well, I said "yep", ...he asked a few questions about it, then asked for a "Bottom Dollar".....I kinda blew him off, and said "whatchasee is whatcha get"......he said "ok, thanks!", and I thought nothing more of it. A few hours later he called and said he was on his way!.....what!! on your way for what????....He showed up with a trailer, and almost 25 grand cash...........It happened so fast,.....as I saw my 285 hour cab/air leaving my property,......I had a sick feeling overcome me. WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!!... Too late now. I cannot find a cab as clean and nice as mine was.......for 25k anyway.....ANYONE HAVE A NICE CLEAN CAB FOR SALE????

I had a simalar thing happened once. I was really pissed when I found out the $100 bills where bogus.
You did check the bills?

Earlier this year I let my old 820 and tiller go for 7000 when I had the new tractoritis, now with a large job starting next week I wish I had kept it. While I like my new 4520 cab the older 820 was in excellent condition with a canopy and was bullet proof.

What were either of us thinking?

I have been so pissed at myself the last couple of days......I cant' get any work done! Just keep thinking of this huge mistake I have made. I am sure you can confiirm...a big stack of cash makes you stupid! The car biz has been better, nothing wrong with my tractor, I loved everything about it...but, I HAVE NO TRACTOR!

Sure a 2008 for $8,000 - I'll take six - should I send the money straight to Nigeria and wait for free shipping to me. There are a bunch of ads in Canada Used Autos, Cars, Trucks, Boats, Motorcycles Online Classified Ads - AutoTrader.ca for equally good prices if anyone is interested.

At least you are a man of your word, I have drove sixty miles only to find out the seller changed his mind, kind of put's you in a foul mood for a few days. good luck

I own my own business so I know how you feel, when things are down the first thing you think about is getting rid of the assets not needed to survive.This is the correct but painful reaction, when things improve you will have the money to make up the loss you took selling this tractor. Keep the faith and get through this bad period then go looking for a new tractor, the next one you buy will be better then the one you sold.

I hear ya.....I am downgrading to the 5045E, delivering it today. I am taking the rest of the money to pay off some bills and reduce my monthly nut. I think I got a pretty good deal though....canopy and Imatch for 19900. You're right, later on down the road, I will get exactly what I want. I posted up for any other 5045E owners for some feedback.

So you still have the implements, the weights? I would miss the cab most but does the new tractor have 4wd?

Yeah...I have 9 implements total now...just haven't updated my profile. The "E" series are ALL 4WD. I really like the larger ag tires on the front, looks aggressvie as ****!
