ToolBoxTavern,
I have seen removable livestock cages before. Neat units.
My rig is all red because the name of my business is Big RED Beast Excavators.
Great talkin' with you tool.
I am about an hour north of Mahindra's Houston headquarters.
hugs, Brandi

Kewl. I like the name. I think I might try to do some shredding, tilling, basic drive ways on the side especially if I trade in my dry box trailer for a belly dump.

Do check those numbers. They dont seem right. If the r1s are neutral front lead ratio then the tractor with r4s has a high positive lead. I agree from your spec numbers, that the slightly taller r4 front would pair well with the rear r1 ... but I question the correctness of the r1/r4 front diameters vs the r1/r4 rear diameters.

Yea the actual diameter might be different, but standing looking at it the R1s was for sure taller than the R4s in the rear and I did look at the tire sizes and they matched the website and brochure as far as height, but keep in mind I was comparing a 2wd to a 4wd in the rear because they didnt have a 4wd with R1s all the way around.

Right, I understand that and I aint gonna mess with it I was just saying from the specs it seemed it would be fine if not better.

As brochure and Mahindrausa.com states
Tire sizes - Font / Rear
R4s - 12 x 16.5 / 16.9 x 24
R1s - 9.5 x 16 / 12.4 x 28
Oh. Those are rim diameters not tire diameters.

O, I learned something, but same numbers was stamped on the tires. As far as both rears (again 4wd with R4s and 2wd with R1s) and the R4s on the 4wd in the front.
That would be kewl if the R1s in the front was actually taller. Guess I will find out soon enough. I did see a larger unit with the same width R1s, but of course taller tire (9.5 x 20 I think).

I was also debating on remotes. Mahindra offers the one, but sales man said they can do a 2 spool aftermarket for $1,000 and I think I'll push it to a 3 spool. I was kicking the idea of just doing the one from the factory and adding some quick connects to a 3 spool later. Thoughts, opinions, suggestions?

Go for three, two is great but three would open up more hydraulic options.

Check the quality and features of the aftermarket remotes vs the Mahindra ones. The factory ones on my 7520 offer float and detent on the control lever with auto kick to center at high pressure, and good feathering control prior to the detent position. Float lets a hyd cylinder move in response to forces on the implement. Handy for top n tilt and my Tilt Tatch.

Thanx for the info. I'll be sure to question that part of the aftermarket spool features. Think it would be Awesome to have all 3.

I got a lot of mesquite clearing to do and I want to make a ruff drive with a box blade all the way round the fence line for the tractor and my ATV. 14acres and almost square. Each side is bout a 1,000ft give or take 100ft.
