Dose anyone have a shop manual download for a 5045E that is not loaded with scams and viruses ? I don't mind paying a fair price but don't want to give away the farm to scammers.

The easiest (and legal) way is to buy one from Deere. No viruses and you are guaranteed the real thing.

That link isn't all that helpful and besides for 30K$ they should have included the repair CD with the operators manual.
Anybody do this disassemble/reassemble before? Any info you can give me would be very appreciated.

For $30K I agree but I know of no tractor manufacturer that supplies a TM with a new tractor. Then think about the large % of new tractor purchasers that never read the operators manual!!

Oh I hear that. I was just hoping that membership here might access me some lump knowledge at a cheaper price then getting it first hand.

Well I got it apart. I couldn't see any damage to the piston rings or the cylinder so it must be the relief valve or it's o ring.

Free advice about proper reassembly graciously accepted. :D

I'm really Glad Kubota Uses External cylinders on the real M-series they look far less complicated than this. Good luck sorry your tractor let you down

I wouldn't say it let me down. I abused it beyond it's limits. At least no casting or other exorbitantly expensive part broke. There is just an awful lot of stuff you have to take off to get to this part.

Well I've got part way through the reassemble process. I found that three bolts going through the valve bodies were a half inch too short. Apparently the mechanic that installed the second rear remote used the wrong size. they only came through the valve blocks by three threads. have to wait till Monday to get the right ones. Anybody got a good trick to expand big (Two inch) snap rings. I have snap ring pliers but not ones big enough to spread these. They go on the ends of the rock shaft and hold on the lift arms.

What did you find broken, since you are into reassembly? You might be able to use needle nose pliers for the large snap rings (you have to pull them open, rather than squeeze them shut)
