years ago now I came to this sight to decide what I wanted. I'm retired now and the tractor is going strong.
So I've been researching Zero Turn and tractor mowers for awhile now. I had decided on a ZD326 Kubota. Nice machine.
However... Everytime I visit the dealer... The BX tractors call to me. And the I think I should buy a B2620! Because it's better than the BX! So I'm I really stuck.
I will be finish mowing 7 acres a week. That's the machines main use. Property is mostly flat but does have a couple banks and a low area that can be wet at time (grassy ditch). Plenty of trees, sidewalks, gardens, etc.
I have a L3830 with loader. But I thought having a BX with loader would be mighty handy. And a backhoe would be even better! Lol! And a B2620 has a bigger loader and hoe! See where this goes?! Lol!
Here's some pics of the machines in question. I really like the looks of the BX with mower. It's just cool.
Any suggestions on what to get? Thank u!!!
My suggestion would be buy a ZTR...but I'd at least demo a Hustler...standard rule of thumb..never buy a ZTR without a chain hung deck... Hustler is the inventor of the ZTR and are much better machines than the Kubota's...better engines and better warranty but maybe a little more expensive... Kubota's are the best looking ZTR'S but that's about the only advantage I can see if you purchase one I demo'd both machines and if you do the same...you'll buy the Hustler no doubt about it
When it comes to ZTR'S...YES THEY DO AND A BETTER WARRANTY..and I didn't see anywhere in his post that he had to have a diesel on a ZTR anyway..which would be unnecessary for 7 acres... like I suggested he should demo both ZTR'S Kubota and Hustler and compare warrantys like I did and he'll see for himself like I did that getting off of a Kubota and getting on a hustler is like getting out of a log Wagon and getting into a Cadillac
