No rush on this, it could be a problem.
Do any of our design, engineering, or other knowledgeable person know if this symbol is representative of any particular manufacturer ??
I had to blow up a few times, but tried to leave it recognisable, it is located on the power plant of a PT.

Looks like the number 15 to me

Not a # 15. If you look close, it looks sort of like a ball and socket with the ball attached to a plate. I assume it is a company's logo.

Thanks ken for suggesting it is possibly a company Logo, I was thinking along those lines, and that's why I asked if anyone had run into this Logo on their travels.

I started this thread asking if anyone could identify the attached Logo.
I'll attach the Logo again, which some kind person removed. on that post it states that I edited the post on 7/8/07. I don't know how to edit !!!
Anyway here it is again, it was there because JJ, Ken Simolo, and Bill Justice made comments about it, thanks fellas, since then of course I did a little more stiudying.

So let's start again, the attached pics show a little better understanding of the reason for my question.
The No 3 file shows that the logo is on the right hand side of the (Variable Volume Pump, part No P124, that is PT's nomenclature on the so called Wheel Motor Circuit diagram), there is an identical Logo same position on the left hand side.
Iwas able to geta better idea of the Logo in the No 2 file picture.

Now that you know where it is located I hope there may be hope. So far I have not been able to find any V. V. Pumps under the possible title of Omega, I give it a shot every so often. Had the I D plate been left on the flat portion where the #14 was stamped I think it would have been a little easier.

So I'm still hoping that someone has an idea. I use the word Omega because after rotating the picture it appears to be fairly obvious. Thanks to those of you who stepped in to help. No1 file attached

I've been doing a lot of research on the INTERNET compiling a list of the OEM's. suppling components and parts to PowerTrac. Here's one for the great PT pump mystery. As far I can tell the pumps are made in Italy. The USA distributor / dealer is in Ashland, VA., almost in powertracs backyard. (well give or take 250 miles )
