I don\'t know how you guys handle the humidity!

Today we had a rare occurance, high humidity couple with a warm temperature. 70 degrees and 70 percent humidity. I think it must be something you learn to live with. It's rough! /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Hey, here in the great Ohio Valley, it is currently 94 degrees with a balmy 67% humidity! It won't really warm up until the next couple of months though. It will be lovely then. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Re: I don\'t know how you guys handle the humidity!

that is the norm in good old Massachusetts. In the summer we get in the 90's with a killer dewpoint (Above 70). Today was around 85 and 68 humidity in Worcester. In my home town today it was 91 and low humidity 58..now dewpoint is 61 (cooling down)

The forcast is: temp | humidity
Fri: 84° | 66°
Sat: 87° | 66°
Sun: 90° | 63°
Mon: 86° | 62°

In the house is 68.2 and falling humidity.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyone for snow ball fights? My Chopin and juice does not need ice! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wife left central ac on "on" not auto all day last year and it was 52 in the house...Poor dogs were snow men...

Sure wish we had nice pleasant weather like that. It did get down to 77 this morning before daylight, but it's 92 now. And the humidity this afternoon had dropped to 46%.

ech: I've been all around the states in military. Ohio seems to be the worst for high temps & humidity to match! ! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif don't get me wrong I love it here, just wish it wouldn't get over 90 so much. I work in a plumbing plant, (making toilets @ Mansfield Plumbing) it is so bad the cold water pipes rain down in there. drying clay to make the procelin bathroom fixtures and then putting them in KILNS running 2500+ degrees (yes I said 2500!) shop floor temps are 120 plus in places with 90% hunidity as the molds & stuff start drying out... ;( Not sure I'f I can take it much longer I been there 7 months it was nice 85 degs most every where in the plant back in dec when it was 10 degrees outside & snowing up a storm.

Yep, that would be tough. I only spent one September and October in Ohio (Medina in '93) so it wasn't bad. In fact, I left the last Friday evening of October just ahead of a snowstorm.

Born and raised in Ohio, so where else is there to go? Man I love this heat, just wish it would rain. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: I don\'t know how you guys handle the humidity!

Worst place I've lived was Houston. Walk out of an air conditioned building or get out of your air conditioned car and your glasses fog up.

Yuck. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

After that place, Virginia is downright DRY! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You can say that again! My lake is already 13" low and my grass is crispy. All of the "isolated" thunderstorms have never isolated themselves here and watered things or cooled us off.

BlueRidge, I occasionally have that problem with my glasses fogging up here in Dallas, but I know it's not as bad as Houston. And I just won't use my string trimmer without eye protection, but I sure have a problem with those safety glasses fogging up, and that's when they've never even been in an air-conditioned vehicle or building. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
