RobJ,
Is that school in Klein, named after past superintendent Donald Collins? Aka...Cadet Don? He handed me my diploma when I graduated back in........:)
hugs, Brandi

I believe that would be the one. Not that popular I understand around here according to many of the long timers (before our time). Naming a school after himself(well his board), a park, etc. I also heard that Klein Collins has a column for every year he ran the district, not sure if that's true or not.

Two more photos. The first one shows where I moved the yarsstick to in the shallow end and the 2nd photo shows the rye grass turning everything green.

Brandi,

With the clarity of your water, I would expect it to clear pretty quickly. If not, gypsum will make the silt settle. When I built my house, I tossed all the sheetrock scraps into my small pond. The water cleared up in just a few days. The change was amazing. Then the unforseen happened, algae growth took over and it got really ugly. Green, lumpy and just nasty looking. Now I leave my water alone.

Eddie

Eddie,
I will wait to see if some gypsum is needed. I really want to see if it clears itself up.

RobJ,
Collins ran the district when it was busting at the seems in growth. Most all of my close (German) friend's family names have a school named after them. But I wasn't aware Cadet Don had a High school named after him.

Brandi, I'm surprised ol' Booger hasn't already jumped into the pond. Is he a water dog? It would be a little hard for him to get out with the steep sides. Better keep a close eye on him.;)

Jim,
Booger knocked some pebbles into the deep end the other day and I thought he was going to dive in after them. He stays way back when I am down in the pond near a steep side. He is just now comfortable walking down the shallow slope to drink. We will see how much water dog he is this summer.
How about a photo or two of your pond? Please.;)

John_bud,
Aluminum foil? How do you fry fish in aluminum foil?
Make it 7.......:)
hugs, Brandi

You don't. 1 TBS of butter on each side of the fish, some season salt (I also put red pepper), and place the sealed foil packet on the grill. 4-5 min on each side. Open it and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top when melted, serve.

You can put the foil packet on each person's paper plate and they toss that away after eating. No muss, no fuss, just tuck in and enjoy.

Brandi,
I've had catfish fillets prepared exactly how John describes and I can tell it's delicious that way. Different than deep frying, the fillets are tender with particularly good flavor. The butter inside the foil sort of broils or fries it but not too crisp. I have a Cajun friend who served his fish like that.
