It's not just about the covid deaths. Medicare will pay for 21 days of isolation for a covid patient. Even when the patient is Asymptomatic. The rest of us are told we can go back to work after 10 days if we are Asymptomatic.Problem is, doctors break rules. Administration runs the hospital, not the doctors, and if they instruct doctors to pump up the Covid death numbers for the cash, the Covid numbers become inaccurate.
IMO, the Covid death rates would be much more believable and accurate if there was no money paid for Covid deaths.
Extra money is paid for cleaning, and a bunch of other things related to the virus.
