No, what it's actually all about is understanding the exact intent behind the statement ... and what it's meant to convey.

perhaps you can convey what is meant by the message as you see the intent. The meaning /intent is in the eye of the beholder.

That may well be skewed by the political inclinations of those doing the (supposed) "verifying".

Recently caught some reporting by a hospital official - in Houston I think it was - that roughly 50% of his staff there were disinclined to avail themselves of a vaccine when it becomes available ... due to political considerations apparently.

So it wouldn't be terribly surprising that some reports of "skewing" might themselves be skewed.

The vaccine and who gets it is a pretty sore subject in my household.

It's left up to the employer. Some employers are leaving it the the employee.

My wifes employer said that if an employee doesn't take the vaccine, they would be removed from the schedule indefinitely. Needless to say, doesn't matter what your veiw is on the vaccine, that statement would tick most people off.

The other concern is the handling of the Physer vaccine. Unless you have a commercial freezer on site, how is it gonna get handled correctly? Is it gonna get administered correctly?

Those were some of my wifes concerns, and they are pretty valid. Especially when she knows the two nurses, (what type of nurse they are) that got certified to administer the vaccine. Let's say, they wouldn't have been in the top 10 for the nurses she would have liked to have seen put in charge of administering the vaccine.

The Moderna vaccine is less temperamental and much easier to handle. Seems to be less adverse reactions to it. My wifes stress level dropped considerably once she found out her facility was getting the Moderna vaccine. She's scheduled to get it Thursday.

She would probably be unemployed if her facility was shipped the physer vaccine. She would have refused it because of the handling requirements and the fact that they probably wouldn't/ couldn't be met.

I interpret the message as the mask protects both ways.. You most likely interpret the message differently

One thing is for sure. It's a debate / argument that can't be won by either side.\
It will be a dead lock of those that believe vs those that do not.

Nope - the actual meaning/intent is on the part of the sender - the person or entity doing the original conveying - not those doing the receiving.

But it certainly true that those receiving can receive a communication or message and then (mistakenly) believe that something else was intended.
