That's crazy! When my horses get excited and start running, all I see and hear is bucking and farting! You know all the poop had to move out to let the farting begin.

yes it is getting deep in here........man im oh so curious......but if he had lamas I maight think twice about poop same place no picking up daily. other than that horses go when they need round here. You may want to note I live in a free range county...if you don't want horse you MUST fence them OUT. FREE RANGE. I won't even start to tell you the problems we have with horses running round and their NOT wild their my neighbors. GOT POOP?

My neighbor claims that he has his horses trained not to defecate while being ridden in a horse show or in their horse ring on their property. Ok, let the stories begin. I ROLMAO when I was told this. I believe that if you don't feed them it might work. I have never heard of such a laughable thing in my life.

We went to see the Lipizzaner Stallions last year. These horses are trained to do things that mere mortals could never train their horses to do. Of course you couldn't expect mere mortal horses to learn that well either. ;-)

Well, they had 4 guys with shovels to clean up between "acts" in the show. No, there wasn't THAT much to clean up, they just each had their "sector" to clean.

Now, I ask you, if the Lipizzaner Stallions are not trained not to poop during a show, then what chance do mere mortals have?

Mike, You are so right. My brother and daughter said the same thing to me. I think it is just another bunch of horse poop on the neighbors part to tell another tall tale and lie about how his horses don't poop near the wetlands.

Boy, isn't that the truth. I've done a few trail rides in the woods where the horses actually try to rub you off their backs against the side of a tree. My wife has had that same problem too with a few horses over the years. One of my old neighbors horse was a PITA and would try to bite you if you tried to pat him or got too close. I told her the cure for him was a 2x4 across the head to show him who the boss was. He even pinned her against the wall of their barn once. Lucky for her that her husband was near by and wailed on him with a broom.
