I had my first \'problem\' with my TC33D today....

Well, I went to go out and play, er, I mean work with the blower today, but the tractor would not start. When I turned the key, I could hear a relay(s) clicking, and I knew it had power.. I checked all of the levers etc... turns out it had blown the fuse for the safety switches..

Luckily an easy fix!!

Hey Kris I'm glad it was nothing serious on your TC-33D. Do you have any guess as to why you lost that fuse? Probably nothing too much to be concerned over unless the same one blows again.

Some of the Operator's Manuals say that the safety switch fuse (#5) should be a 7.5 amp fuse. The corrected manual says it should be a 10 amp fuse. You might check which one you've got if this problem comes up again. Many people including myself ran into that issue.

I really don't know, other than I had the lights on.. I wouldn't think that would draw extra current though the safety switch circut, but if these things are anything like Audis, the electrical system is fussy..

Thanks! to be honest, I looked in the manual at the fuse designations, but didn't look at the ratings. I pulled out a 10 amp fuse, and I put back in a new 10 amp fuse.

I just got off it, I can't get enough of that little blue machine!!!

I have also had the fuse blow once when I left the lights on. Nothing has happened ever since I remember to shut the lights off.

Kris, I replaced the standard fuse in that fuse location with a circuit breaker.
