Did that once in a fit of rage when I got hammered by a yellow jacket nest...The gas is entertaining...The Castrol GTX SAE50 racing oil burned nice and slow. Maybe 2 beers worth.

Never got hit again. I felt better about the whole situation after that

The Chevelle wasn't thrilled that I used it's oil though.

I think I can safely say, if that batch was living near me "natural causes" would start off with some deaths due to lead poisoning.

My grandfather who hated snakes had a flesh pink painted pickup (he was an artist and artists were crazy even back then). I guess I was four or five when I looked in the back of that pickup and the floor was covered in dead rattlesnakes. I can still see it in my mind's eye even now.

with a den of rattlesnakes close by: did you consider moving?? or maybe go to the sale barn an buy some pigs an let them go in that area...but the moving idea is my first thought.

See pg 4 of the thread below for pics of dogs (that lived) and were bit by Rattlers. Not good. I will not post the pics cuz they are ugly. The good things is the dogs lived and are fine.

Again I hate snakes. If you have snakes get some cats. The normal barn cat is far faster than a snake.

I do not have a house on the farm and the den is several hundred feet or so away from where I would put one so I am not considering moving. The den is 6-8 feet over on the next property over and the owner is absentee so I can't run pigs on it.

Eddie is the only one I know who hates snakes more than me. This is a very disturbing thread. I notice that Eddie did not even respond to this.
