Don't know what you're after.

On one hand, you say you're a weak person (fell for the sales pitch) and then say your word means nothing to you. I don't get it. YOU have to decide if you want the tractor and where you'll get it serviced/repaired. No one here can bail you out.

I bought my one and only new tractor over the phone site unseen, never went to dealers just used phone for top three to me. The first two treated me as if I was lying trash, 3rd one treated me as someone who was good for word, I bought tractor that day, gave them cashier’s check when tractor was delivered. Great experience, great lesson.

Yep.. same here, over the phone sight unseen... The 3 dealers I did go to locally treated me like crap, and wanted me to pay $6-7k more for their orange or green paint or red paint.... I got blue in the face!
So I figured I may as well buy a blue tractor!

I had such a positive experience with the LS dealer over the phone and then the follow up customer service after the sale, I bought my second LS the same way! Just as great an experience!

I have a friend that cant make up his mind on anything. He purchased a mavic pro drone, got home desided he didn’t need a drone, returned it to Bestbuy and had to pay 15% restocking fee.

he took that money,bought a new tv from Bestbuy. Brought it home, desided he didn’t like it and returned it for another model. Brought that home, returned that one also. Bought another one, didn’t like that either. Is on the process of returning that.

How about coming at this from a different angle. Why would you not want the tractor you picked out? Many too small, not enough HP, something else? Are you just second guessing the need for a tractor? Or maybe the cost? I'm asking because I doubt your dealer is going to care. You didn't take delivery and the paperwork wasn't signed so it's still a new tractor. With sales being as strong as they are I doubt that it'll take much for the dealer to sell it to someone else. But maybe we here can help make sure this is right for you.

As for a handshake? I like to think my word is good but at the same time buying something that's not going to be a good fit would be costly. I don't see the dealer getting screwed. At best there might have been a little money shipping the attachment (which doesn't sound like it's shipped yet). I would also like to think that a dealer would value me enough to make sure I was happy with my purchase than just making a sale.

So, if you don't mind, what's causing you to second guess?

You said that you did your research. Go with it. Buy the tractor. A hand shake is still solid for most older people. He has already gone to a lot of trouble to get your stuff. You have several years to asses the features of that brand compared to others.
