The headlamp bulb for B1750 is a quirky little thing that it would appear Kubota has a monopoly on and want to charge $12 each.
Anybody know where these can be purchased at a reasonable price?
Thanks...I love this site! :)

I agree that $12 seems high enough for a bulb, but then again, our truck and car both take a halogen twist in bulb that costs that much too. One Ford, one Honda. If it were $30, I'd likely scream. $12? I dunno. If I couldn't find a replacement, over the counter type, and needed to run the lights to work at night? I'd likely just buy one and move on. Hope you find a more economical solution.

Look at the base of the bulb. Stamped in the base may be a number. That is what I used for mine and found it at Wal-mart for much less.

How about $300 for a thermostat for a Newer model Ford CHA Tractor. Just heard about that last night. Dealer sent a service man out and 3 hrs. later he had it in. Total bill, parts and labor $900. Kicker is that it did not fix the problem. Ken Sweet

For $12 a bulb, maybe you should just check into an LED replacement.
They can be pricey, but they should last allot longer.
And in my B7800 the LED replacments were brighter than the stock headlight bulbs.
LEDs draw less current too.

Don't buy a Volkswagen if you are twitchy about expensive bulbs... one Touareg headlight bulb = $280 Cdn. I'd sooner be in the dark !

Paid $18.50 for a head light bulb for L2800. Sent nasty e-mail to dealer and he refunded me $3.00. Still to much for a bulb the size of a flash light bulb.

Just out od curosity, what does your dealer charge for his shop labor? Ken Sweet

The high beam filaments are burned out in my Outlander. About $25 each. I just run it on low beams.

Well now, let's be fair here... a Touareg HID (Bi-Xenon) bulb from the dealer might be $280 Cdn. But the same OE Sylvania replacements are also available for less than half that on the aftermarket.

Non-HID VW's pretty much use the same typical bulbs as everyone else, with a few "european type" bulbs here & there. ;)
