That CK20 with a KB2465 backhoe is a liittle butt kicker. 750 hours on my
CK20 and at least half of that time is credited to stump digging as I build my road through the woods and prepare/clear some building sites.

The suggestion made earlier to get some outrigger pads is a good one. My dealer made me up some 1/4" plates to bolt on the original pad and it made a real big difference. Welcome aboard.

:thumbsup:, AWESOME, you must be thrilled, BTW, sorry I disappeared on you, my 215K buick died and I had to put my tractor money into a new Dodge, but hopefully I'll be joining you before the end of the summer....now, is the backhoe more or less capable than you thought originally and is it really as bad as I've heard going up hills in Low range?

The backhoe is very powerful and digs better than my friends BX24. I have only put 5 hours on in two weeks and have only driven in low around my yard. Going up hills does slow the machine down some but if you just increase the rpms a little it goes up prettty well. I will admit that I haven't really tested it or thought about the speed. I will do some testing and let you know, but it will be in a couple weeks as I am going away next week. 5 happy hours so far. Still can't seem to get my 8 yr. old son off it.
