Lot better then that oem stuffed up pos muffler they put on to hold them back.

Call it what it is, a hollow exhaust box. No muffling going on there.
Nope, don't have one......yet. Maybe the OEM muffler can be 'cleaned' out?

I bought the Egan, which is literally just a pipe. Also got the OEM mount for the air filter to secure it better.
Should be able to get it set up next Tuesday

Wait a min is your air filter wrong side on your clone then? That part where air filter goes is 2 different sizes.
OEM is big with big filter.
CLONE comes with small and should have small filter.
Clone carbs smaller too.
I showed measurements of both in my thread on junk saws.
I'm going to try timed cuts and compare everything I have on hand. I might even throw the stock stuffed up muffler in for laughs.

The reading I've done said the clone inlet, was smaller than OEM, and the filter was OEM sized, causing the filter to fit very loose. Guys we're doing all sorts of shade tree fixes. Some bought the OEM inlet and it was a perfect fix.
Lots of videos of poor fitting filters due to incompatible sized inlet vs filter.
I'll have the saw in hand Tuesday and I'll know for sure... But I had not seen a single review that said the included filter fit the clone inlet.

That was only when the mold was broke. The clone companies threw on oem sized which was wrong size.
I have not yet heard of wrong size filter on a Joncutter G2511 to date.
Plus the mold as since been fixed for the clone air filters.
Yours should be small and small.
But since you bought oem size you can now run the bigger oem size filter.
I grease both oem and clones. Big small both shown. Just hadnt greased oem then but was getting ready to.
Because most of us do not do BOOBtube BS. So much wrong info there.
All that info is in my group back when going on. If not there ask before buying.
