I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

Anyone running a .325 speed cutter set yet on this saw? I have one in my cart, sorta maybe better balance with power and cut speed

Yep. Oregon Nano 325 043

My oem one came with it labeled as echo set too.

I've tried all 3 set ups on 25cc, 2 on 35cc

25cc

1/4" mini micro 043 smoothest but slowest. Super nice for pruning cuts on fruit trees.

325 Nano 043 best of both worlds on 25cc. Fast and smooth. Can do pruning and big cuts.

3/8LP fast not smooth for pruning. If not worried about smooth cutting it's fast.

On 35cc 3/8LP 63PS faster and Nano 325 smoother but slower.

Did you install a new Echo oil part? Generally wondering if Echo parts will fit the Joncutter G2511?

Yes, perfect fit. The pin that restricts the movement of the oil adjustment screw is much more robust than the JonCutter version.

It's not the ECHO part, but aftermarket that is a direct ECHO replacement.

Thought my saw was very bouncy when I tried it out earlier in week. Decided to sharpen the chain with my Pferd filing guide. Thought rakers could be low but that didn't seem the case and the guide flattened rakers just a tiny bit. Tried cutting again and difference was very noticeable in less vibration. Think as chain is used more it will settle down.

Picked up a set of 3 of these from Amazon. Not sure how they will perform but for $7.00 each hard to pass up. Project Farm tested these along with 9 other sets about 4-5 years ago and seemed to be in the middle of pack.

Haven't run mine, but generally chains seem more bouncy at first run and then after one of my "sharpenings," that goes away.

Don't you need 44 drive links, not 45? These look like semi-chisel.

I ran 3/8LP 45DL on mine but 44DL works too with some bars.
