I just got a Virus warning from McAfee aniti virus program when I clicked on....

Old Goat Ranch Terry ....Do a search for that thread and be careful because as soon as I clicked on it my McAfee anti virus window came up with the Whoa are you sure you want to go there...and a danger sign....

Is this still happening on that thread? I checked it and using AVG no warning. It's more than likely related to an ad so we need to figure out what the ad is and block it. So if you could let us know which ads you see on the page (top and right side) as well as whether you are logged in or not.

I think its related to an add. Casue i clicked the "goat farmer" thread and did not get anything, but did not hit reply either. Since its realated to several threads an add was my thought. I will try and be vigilant and if i get it report what adds are on the screen and if able get a screen shot.

Aside from ads being overly intrusive, things like this are precisely why I block all ads. You simply can't trust them, regardless of their source.

Muhammad Had mentioned earlier about troublesome Virus warning that changed to Trojan Warnings.
I use AVG 2012 and had to go to Max on security on the checking to get rid of it. Look at AVG update Weekly #25 Anti-Rootkit scan detects a corrupted file.
The infection is in the System Volume Information folder.
My problem was [ C:\user\e-mail address|App. Data\Local|AWS|clf.Laxmtm.dll] Object is hidden.

Had to log in before receiving then appears before TBN logo show up.
There is 2 virus appearing so don't give up until both are take out.
Only took me 4 hours of checking before found the corrupted bits errors. Not a real Trojan other than errors .
