Yeah I got it out of there quick before I did set like concrete.

Managed to get one of my boots back too. Bird may recall the other post where I lost both of them in the ooze !!

No, nothing beats ringing a mate to bring his 4x4 around and drag it out !!

I had a 4x4 but was too hard to drive it and be on tractor at same time !!

Bet nearly everyone gets a tractor stuck sooner or later - or else they aren't pushing it to be all it can be /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif...

Couple of years ago I was down in an area of pasture that has a spring underground. It is usually dry enough, though, that I can drive on it. But this was right after a hard rain and I sank my tractor in to the frame, front and rear tires a spinnin'. Had to have a neighbor come over and pull it out.

And earlier this winter I was getting some wood from my neighbors place and could not get the tractor up the hill. Was slidin' all over...until I figured out that it was in 2WD /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif...

Stuck on my 3rd day with the tractor, had to pull it out with my 4Runner and chain. I was surprised to be stuck in that situation - back tires clearly in a problem spot, but front didn't seem to be pulling. Found out tractor 4WD shaft was not linked from the factory, so I had no front wheel drive available! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

No good so I binned it. Other one yet to surface.

Grass down there so think now I'll never get it.

In fact I tried to slah it for the first time yesterday and almost got stuck again. Very gluey stuff and the rain stopped almost a month ago.

Steve - It is an L185 (sort of) is only 18HP but yes, almost the same as the L245 but missing some size and one cylinder.

Stuck?!? Oh Yeah! My B2910 was maybe 2 days old. I was Moving brush from one area to another. It was a bit of a trip up to the road, around the brook and back down to the brush pile. The brook wasn't running too high, maybe 3 inches of water by 3 feet wide. I figured I would go across it and cut the travel time in half. Worked great... the first time . The second time however, OOOPS! I sunk down to the frame. There was no moving it out. I was all set to swallow my pride and go find my neighbor and his tractor when I thought of the come-a-long in the garage. I attached it to a tree and the tractor and bit by bit I was able to drag it out of the mud enough to move it. A lot of mud everywhere but everything was OK. I am a lot more cautious now.
