I keep breaking 1/2 ratchets on my lug nuts.

Mine is digital readout and contains a load cell.

They are 24mm and that is how tight the dealer had them, i'll get a breaker bar! i was always under the impression that the larger ratchets could handle more but breaker bars are cheap.

I'm still trying to picture 24 mm nuts on a tractor. Even the Pete I'm getting has "only" 22 mm studs. Different type of tractor, but still.

Anyway, if a 3/4" impact won't do the job I'd get out my 1". It's good for 2,500 ft.-lbs. Basically, either the fastener comes loose, it breaks, or I go for a spin.

I'm going to start a thread called "working women", since I find nothing on earth sexier than a hard-bodied woman doing what most would consider "man's work". That said, between that proclivity and me watching this thread, the YouTube algorithm knew well enough to serve this one up to me over breakfast this morning.

She ain't exactly the "hard bodied" Scandanavian type toward which I gravitate, but she has skills, knowledge, and one hell of an impact driver.

While I think some women can/do manly jobs, I think a lot of the You-tube women stars are somewhat “fabricated” into looking like more than they are.

I play bagpipes, and will admit Piper Ally gets a lot more clicks than my ugly bagpipe teacher, even though he's the better piper.

That said, I think Katelyn Johnson is the real deal.

I like the one she used and it seems like a twin to mine plenty of power but Very Heavy.

The trigger can surprise you, being activated at just the wrong time. Whoever came up with a trigger that is exposed on the back of the rear handle needs to run one of these for a few days, and bet they would change the design then.

Putting lug nuts back on with power but not overtightening:

Find an old or cheap 3/8 extension and cut off the socket end. Chuck it in your electric drill and spin those nuts on fast.

Don't used a hex to square adapter. It won't slip when the nut bottoms out.
