I don't particularly (like Ku_bobos).
They're too high priced for what you actually get and lack mass (weight where it counts).
Weight translates to traction if you're pulling ground engaging implements, I would rather have it in the tractor than have to add it as ballast.
If light is right - e.g. for ONLY mowing, maybe Ku_Boo is watcha need.

FWIW, etc.

Shhhhhhhhh Reg, this is the (Ku_Boo) section.

Yes! REG is right. Kubotas are light and that is why I got one. It's easy to add the weight if needed, but it would be AWFUL HARD to shed 500 or 1000 lbs if it is all built in. Right?! Whatever floats your boat!

easgo, would you take this NH deal or keep shopping until you found a Kubota?

You know this thread reminds of when I had my Kubotas and my brother was a Matco Tool Distributor. Of course his customers included the Kubota/Case International, New Holland, and John Deere dealers. The John Deere dealer was the biggest dealership. And in visiting with the mechanics, he had told them about borrowing my Kubotas. So one day, a Deere mechanic asked him, "Do you like the Kubota better than a Deere?" And my brother told him, "I sure do . . . because I can borrow it from my brother and it doesn't cost me anything. Now if you'd like to loan me a Deere at no cost, I might like the Deere better.":D

So how do you add the NEXT 1,000 lbs - once your tires are full and you're loaded up with suitcase weights ? and BTW, if your pulling anything with the Ku_Boo you WILL NEED to add a LOT of weight.

Right; light is right - for mowing.
Mowing is mowing, there are different machines that are better suited to THAT task.

That's interesting Bill, why did you get a K instead of a NH? Would you advise us to go for this NH deal?

If your first choice is Kubota, stick to your guns (of course, I sell orange so that is what I am going to say). However, with the current rebates and programs, you can get closer than you might think on a Kubota. Then you won't have any 'what ifs'. An L4240HST w/ an LA854 is not that far away from this price and would be an '07 that is not left over. You can shoot me a PM if you want a quote for comparison sake. Good luck!

Do you need a tractor this big? What do you plan on using the tractor for? I have two friends with Bommers, a TC33 and a TC45. The second friend just likes to buy big and use his tractor to maintain 400 feet of dirt driveway. If he put 20 hours on it in the last two years I would be surprized. My point is the deal is only good if it suits your needs.

It sounds like to me you just want a Kubota, not a bad thing. If not then you probably would have picked up that NH by now. Around here NH tractors sell for less, both new and used (not a bad thing). I've never really looked at them so I really don't know but it looks like a good price.
