Traded in our BX23 for this B2620 and what a difference!!! I love this one. It's so much higher, easier to work with....this is great!!

There are a couple items that are a pain, but I still love it.

One is that this morning while I was snow blowing, my boot heel caught the lock a few times for the lift on the snow blower.

My boot also got stuck last time a few times between the brake and the forward pedal and it was interesting trying to quickly get it out while nearing the edge of the bank....

Other than that, it's really nice. Can't wait to use the 60" mower deck compared to using the 54"....probably won't notice much of a difference other than it being new, BUT, when the mower goes on, so will the FEL and THAT will be .....!!!!.....YES!!!!! lol:D

Congrats on the new tractor. Enjoy the shine!! I'm sure it will do you well presently and downn the road. Post some pics when you have the time. " Get new Boots!!! It's not the tractor causing the problem!"

I've caught that lock with my boots a time,or two also, but you get used to where it is after a while automatically, and it won't bother. It is a nice tractor for doing all kinds of things around the place.

1*Did you get a BH on the B2620?
I turned down a B2410 for my BX23 because the B2410 did not have a BH.
2*I didn't like the tallness of the B2410.
3* i Have a 60 '' mmm on the bx23.
Congrats on the B2620.

Congratulations. I'm not quite sure what lift lock you are hitting with your heel, but I haven't done it yet.

Congrats, I love my 2620 also! Not sure as evil mentioned about the lock you are refering to. Are you refering to the turn knob between you legs to lock the position of the 3pt?

I actually took a look this morning and found the lever he is referring to. It is a slider that locks/unlocks the FEL control stick. It's just above the reverse pedal under the seat. I haven't found occasion to use it yet, but glad to know it's there :)

ahem....sorry....it's a "she" - lol.

That IS the lever I mean - has a little black knob.

Didn't get a backhoe yet because we used to have a big old backhoe with a loader, but gave it away. We'd done a lot with it and not much digging we need to do at the moment. Will probably get one next year, though.

Boots - yup, I DID get new ones, but didn't help because they're winter boots and I couldn't get any smaller. Made sure they were thinner and so on. Won't matter next winter because I'll have that cab on it and can wear my regular walking boots.

Chuck, you're right, I AM getting used to not putting my foot up there. I'll tell ya, when you get close to the cliff and your foot is caught, you learn pretty quick to only let the toe go there. :)

In the dark I can't see what the guages read - mostly the fuel guage. It's ok because I keep it filled anyhow, but even though the guages are lit, I can't see where the needles are unless I get under a light. Maybe it's my older eyes! I'm out at 4 - 430am snowblowing.

The daylight is getting longer and longer - yippeee!! - and no matter what I REALLY love this tractor!

I agree. The gauges are backlit but the needles are hard/impossible to see.

KC,

Congrats as well on the new tractor! I too am in the midst of a trade up (BX22 to a B2X20) sounds like you made a very wise move.

Now....wasnt there some a rule that when you get a new tractor you must post pics :D
