For both need bushings, or it is a pretty loose fit.

My SpeeCo bushings were a set for $12.95, without the top link bushing. That is the Cat I to Cat III set.

I am missing it also /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

beenthere is right, we usually do like what we have best, but I went with the Speeco because of the adjustable top link. (plus I saw it with a great price at TSC /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

I certainly don't want to change that top link position, but you just know at some point it's gonna save ya from using the welder to make an attachment imatch compatible!

I forgot to ask, does Pat's Easy Change System need bushings ?

Go to the website of Freedom Hitch and you will find the best quick hitch on the market in my opinion. No need to get off the tractor unless there is a pto to hook up. Works great and I love mine. Works with any make and model of attachments.

So you help re inforce the short liners that try to save a nickel by not making their implements meet the ASAE standard??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If your implements met the ASAE standard, they WOULD all be the same width

The best way I can explain this is by example; My box blade hooks up with the standard Speeco top hook. My brush cutter doesn't need the top hook, it has a flexible hinge that interferes when going through ditches so I remove the hook (I exchanged the bolts for removable pins). My tiller also can't use the top hook, it has a massive top attachment point, with the hook in place it is extremely difficult to align, the tolerances are too tight. With the tiller I simply use two quick pins and line up the top holes on the Speeco, works perfect.

I know I could replace/modifly equipment, but I don't feel the need, all of my attachments hook up in less than a minute with no hassle. Ultimately I agree with the earlier post "we have what we like best", you need to do what works best for you, the Speeco just offers more flexibility without the need for welding/cutting, or replacing implements. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info on the speeco. I did not know the speeco top hook could be changed that quick. All the pictures I had seen had bolts and I "assumed" that is what it had to have. I am always learning something on this site. This may indeed be a good option for the orginal poster.

I checked the Freedom Hitch web site. Very little info and not a good picture of it either. I did request the info tape. We'll see.
