( Yep, I fell in love with the 110 also. My local green Dealer would not service yellow Deere. Then I compared the setup I have now with yellow and it just made more sense ($) for me to go orange. But my first love will always be the 110. Are you getting extra remotes for TnT, a thumb, and stabilizer guards? )

Yes, all but the thumb. The total of options was $4,000.

The dealer wasn't packing me according to building it on line.

Basically at $43K he's throwing in the options. Still very steep for my budget but I am seriously considering it depending on what selling off my stuff brings.

( I have a 110 tlb, and I have all the options and most of the buckets. I have a friend with an l39, and I have done some demoing with the intent of trade, the L39 is better bilt, but the features like the creep to postion on the 110 and the hydro allow it to work circles around the L39. Also, it seems like a bit of a rigamoroll to get a thumb on the 39, and my 110 has it. Another consideration is the smaller tires of the L39. Both units are considerably heavier than a tractor, bigger tires give a little more floatation. I determinined that I could not give up speed of operation for tighter build quality.

Great comparison.......very informative.

( You can get a backhoe for your 3710 from Woods. They have a 4 pt mount that will fit.

We sell the L48 for $7000 less than that 110 your looking at, and the L39 almost a full $11,000 less! Seems there are probably some more competitive prices out there if you shop around. )

Neil, you have a PM.

Normally, it is taboo to enter a thread within a specific brand forum and start in with a competitor. I broke the rules. I hope that I didn't offend anyone. I love Deere equipment. I think the 110TLB is awesome. I also suspected that LVKubota might not be aware of Kubota's tlb offerings. I would hope someone would do the same for me.

The Deere 110TLB can take the heat it is a great machine. Anyone considering TLBs should look at it.

One thing that deserves a careful look is something that is easily overlooked. Loadmatch. it seems to be smoke and mirrors. A marketing ploy. It isn't. After using a loadmatch tractor for a little while I am not ever going back. You probably wouldn't notice the difference at the dealer's lot for a test drive. But after using the equipment for a while, the respect for that little switch just grows and grows.

KVKubota, bottem line, I hope you find the machine that you like. Don't be afraid to get several bids from different dealers. You might find quite a spread in the pricing. (although there are less dealers for yelloe Deere equipment.)

Also, have you looked at the green models. The 4x20s have great features as well. Turbo charged Deere engines. Common Rail Diesels. Beefy hydraulics. Banana boom backhoe. I realize there are tradeoffs compared to the tlb, but in some ways they may be a better match. The loader and hoe really can go off or on in a few minutes. Of course, there is a place for either line...

A lot of 110TLB influence seems to have gone into the 4000TWENTYs...

LoadMatch™ is a John Deere exclusive. Used in the larger construction equipment for years, this feature holds the engine RPM’s high enough to prevent the tractor from stalling out when under heavy workloads and without the operator having to do a thing. An added benefit when doing such jobs as loader work or when using a rotary cutter (pull-behind mower).

Yeah but Mike, the seat, look at the seat on the 4X20's. They needed to carry over just one more detail from the JD 110. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thank you so much for those kind words Mike.

My local JD/Kubota dealer typically has 3 or 4 JD 110's sitting out front. Once there were even five waiting for a new home.

I never intended this to turn into a comparison of the two machines, rather just wanted to bring attention to the high price the guy was quoted. But if you want to start talking about efficency how about the duel swing pumps on the L39/L48 backhoes. Everytime you curl and swing any other hoe slows noticably, add up a few thousand repititions and thats huge. Also standard hydraulic self leveling, higher loader capacity, standard 3pt hitch.

No one machine is nessesarily better than another, it all depends on what you want to do with it.
