VT,
My soil is great. Nice and fluffy. Especially after its freshly plowed. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
As for scrapers, if the doggoned scraper can't pull the blade, the blade is set too deep! Best way is to go really fast with a really shallow cut. Heck, a dozer can't even go fast enough to make things work efficiently. (Are we talking about the same machines?) Your soil may have been very wet or sticky. Ah, but what do I know? If I was really smart, I wouldn't have this problem, would I? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I had a dream last night that I was pulling a 4 wheeld trailer. It looked like a big tall rectangular box. It was orange, and in very bad repair. It had a BIG motor at the base of the tongue. Looked to be a 2 cylinder Tecumseh, 20-25 Hp. Behind the front wheels was a big vacuum intake about 5' wide, skimming the plowed ground.
Heh... plow it, and vacuum it up in one operation. Could work! Then, you have to hire 20 men to empty the trailer with shovels. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Welp, time to go plow, scoop, and haul! Man, it's hot, but I gotta do it while the weather is dry!
