I Put A Little To Much Oil In

Maybe when some are changing the oil the tractor isn't on a level surface. It needs to be level front to back and side to side to drain all the oil out.

FYI On the Grand L tractors (maybe others too) the oil pan fits around the front drive shaft. It holds oil on both sides and has two drains. Both drains need to be removed when draining the oil to remove all of the old oil. I don't think I would replace the drain bolts with a brass valve out of fear that a log or something could break the valve off.

I suppose replacing the drain plug with a finger operated valve on tractors like yours an mine is ok-ish if the tractors stay in the hayfield like Kubota intended and most likely designed for, but if your anything like me, that's no where's near the realm of reality. Last year I was in the rough and rocky area of my woods and to avoid running down or cutting good trees, I managed to hit some rocks and old stumps that was cover by brush, the next morning I went to use my tractor and happened to notice an oil puddle under it, on the garage floor, I was surprised to see the drain plug back out a little, makes me wonder what would of happen if it came all the way out down in the woods, or if I had one of those drain valves on it.

I over filled my ATV once... just removed the dipstick and cranked her a few times. Excess oil was forcefully ejected all over everything. Problem solved, external oiling accomplished, too
