You know it's funny how poor the radio is even without the thing cutting in and out. The sound quality is about like the AM pocket radio I grew up with as a kid.

I bought a EC35 Volvo excavator back in 2004 and the radio works perfectly till this day and that thing takes some abuse between vibration and banging around. Also the radio is upright so everything falls into the tape deck (that I never use).

Yeah I am getting this straightened out so it's much better for me. Yesterday I went to my buddy's place to set his propane tank and it ran pretty good on the road.

I have new Aquiline tire chains to replace the duo ladders that were useless. Hopefully my new homebuilt dump trailer will be light enough to go through the snow behind this tractor.

Fred:

I have spent any TBN free time I've hadvin the past few days reading your threads on your turbo install... thru all the BS from the doubters, on to this point. Way to stick with it!

I too have wanted to turbo a new tractor. I knowingly bought an undersized tractor, but it was in the price range I could afford. Wife insisted on new with warranty, thus I have to wait till it runs out to follow in your footsteps. Like you, I knew I could squeeze a few more HP outta the thing before it had 20 hours on the clock! So as I roll past 120 hours now, I am starting to see the deadline in sight!

Nice work, thanks for including us here on TBN in your adventures!

Thanks sir.

It starts in the cold better than ever, I can't believe nobody ever picked up on this starting problem. This tractor sat on the lot 1 full year and had 14 hours on it.

I'm sure it's not the first one to go out of the factory with the wrong style relays.

Regards, Fred

Back to my awful trailer build.

Well, Fred if you will remember, way back when, several of us advised that there was something wrong with your new tractor in the starting department. Kubota's should start fine in the cold, at least the two I owned did. Now, they were not as easy as my Kioti. :) That machine is the easiest starting tractor I have ever owned.. My old Long 2360 was the worst. I am glad you found the manufacturing defect in the GP relay.

Pulled the roof last evening to check the radio. Found the white connector about 8 inches from the radio was only plugged in half way then taped up by the factory. This connector is very tight and hard to get it plugged in all the way.

Another assembly screw up just like the glow plug and fuel pump solenoid relays. Now the radio works not that I ever use it. I'll get more of a trade now when I trade this piece for a green tractor.

Regards, Fred

The amount you have bashed this tractor online, you better hope the dealer doesn't read this forum because if they have, you won't get much of a trade.

Yes I hear you. I hate this thing. There isn't one thing it does great, most just ok. Trust me sir the next time I buy I will try first; starting to know what to look for in a machine.

Next to fix the seat, sick of crashing to the bottom with a bang.

Regards, Fred
