Yep. And I believe that has been Fred's problem with the tractor all along. Power to weight ratio. I agree that this isn't exclusive to Kubota.
In the tractor world and construction equipment world, HP equals $$$. Same machine with more/less HP costs more/less $$$. Great marketing ploy.
For Kubota I think they went a little overboard with the L3240. Or maybe I should have said underboard.![]()
My L3240 was a fine tractor. A little slow it times but it got the job done. But then again adding 5 or 10 hp couldn’t cost much or anything and it would be a lot better then. It will work circles around the economy series like the L3901. But then again I wasn’t trying to run a blower that took more power than I had available and drive up hill.
